Canine Good Citizen
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) is a certification programme that assesses dogs in simulated everyday situations in a relaxed atmosphere. To ensure that your dog, is able to become a respected member of your community because of its training and conditioning to act with good manners in the home, in public and in the presence of other dogs.
Canine Good Citizen is best suited for:

Dogs who are comfortable in all environments with a variety of different stimuli.
Note: Dogs/Handlers combinations who are working on calmness and/or overcoming reactivity are also welcome, however you should be an experienced handler if this is the case.

What Will You Learn?

​The class is focused on preparation for assessment to achieve the Canine Good Citizen title and practicing the exercises that are part of the assessment at the different levels,

Training Times

Canine Good Citizen is held on Monday nights 6pm to 7pm.

Requirements
-
Dogs must be at least 12 months old
-
Dogs must have passed Canine Good Basics and are assessed as suitable
