This form is for those people who wish to become members of the club and train with us for the year. You have already completed Canine Good Basics and are looking for other activities that you and your dog will enjoy.

The club offers a number of different activities including Agility, Canine Good Citizen, Flygility, Obedience and RallyO. You can have a go at any/all of them.

We hope you have a fun-filled time with us, and that you and your dog enjoy the social contact and make some new friends. With time we also hope that you will be keen to step up and assist with the running of some of our various club activities. There is a lot of experience within the club so if you have any concerns or questions regarding dog training, don’t hesitate to ask and we will do our best to help.


Become a member of the Club. This will entitle you to discounted annual training fees, voting rights and access to extra training and other club activities.

Single membership $32

Family membership $55

Membership fees help pay for club administration costs.

Note: New members must be confirmed at a committee meeting.

Training Fees

For members only.

Single person training $140 per annum

Multiple people training (Family) $240 per annum

Training fees help pay for equipment and ground/building costs.

Classes explained

MONDAY 6.30pm

Flygility is for dogs that have passed canine good Citizen and like catching balls.

Dog Sports Basics teaches the skills required for Canine good citizen, agility foundation,  RallyO and obedience. It follows on well from Canine Good Basics. 
This is for those dogs that have passed Canine Good Basics.
At the end of term one we will offer
  • Elementary Obedience
  • NZARO Foundation Rallyo
tests, and you could gain a certificate and ribbon.

Canine Good Citizen.
Classes for this will be alternate weeks on Tuesday at 6.30pm, and there will be additional class times for those wishing to sit Foundation and Novice Canine good Citizen in April/May.

Obedience and rally-O (advanced) is for those who are already (or wish to) compete in Obedience or RallyO.

Intro to Agility class teaches agility equipment and is for beginners with dogs 12 months and over who have completed Canine Good Basics or equivalent. Dogs must be under control off lead (or do Dog Sports Basics first).

Competition Agility - is for those already competing in Agility.

Club Membership

The Club year runs from January to December each year. 

Membership subscriptions and Training fees are due at the beginning of every year.

Discounts may be available for instructors, or if a person joins part way through a year. Please apply to the Treasurer.
