Competitive Obedience

Competitive Obedience training includes Elementary classes, Special beginners, Novice, Test A, Test B, Test C as well as Companion Dog (CD) trials.  Elementary level Obedience is incorporated into the Dog Manners class.   Anyone enrolling aiming towards competition obedience can start as soon as their puppy is vaccinated and approved by the instructor. Dogs must know basic commands and have a good level of control before you and your dog  can enrol in the other Obedience classes.

If you want to compete in Dogs NZ events you and your dog need be registered with Dogs NZ and be a member of a recognised dog training club.
